Vertex LCD set and powered up display demos ranging in size from 5" to a 42" optically bonded gel filled display for outdoor car wash facilities. Vertex LCD also showed their open frame displays designed for commercial, military and industrial applications such as Kiosks, ATM Machines, aviation simulators, airplane passenger viewing screens, law enforcement and public safety vehicles and fish finder displays for marine applications.

Vertex LCDs have specific components including polarizer and LC fluid that are all designed to operate across the entire extended temperature range. Certain Vertex LCD displays are designed to operate from - 25 o to +85 o C and will not reach isotropic failure (blackout) until around 100 o C.

Vertex LCD also demonstrated its own custom made 5" VGA with 600cd/m 2 using LED backlighting techniques and viewing angles of 89/89/89/89 with glare/anti glare enhancements. Other custom made VertexLCD displays shown were the 5.6" wide with 600cd/m 2 with LED backlight and Anti Glare.

Vertex announced it's addition of their new 15, 17, 19 and 32" displays with brightness luminance of 1500, 1000, 800 and 1000 cd/m 2 .

Adaptive Transflective: Designed for applications where direct sunlight is an impediment to viewing the display data. Using the existing BLU, Vertex LCD can apply this technology to “Normally Transmissive” displays.
This Adaptive Transflective technology allows for daylight viewable using a lower power backlight. Banks, kiosks, gas station pump tops, hand held displays, digital signage, gaming devices and fish finders will all benefit from this new proprietary Adaptive Transflective technology from Vertex LCD.
